An Evening of Wine, Cheese & Chocolate – Thursday 15th October

Harris & James presents an Evening of Wine, Cheese & Chocolate.

We are incredibly excited to invite you to the first of many exclusive tasting evenings at Harris & James.

Join us for a relaxed and indulgent evening where you'll discover just how beautifully wine, cheese and chocolate can work together. While wine and cheese are a timeless pairing, adding handcrafted chocolate opens up an entirely new world of flavour. Rich dark chocolate can enhance the fruit notes in a wine, creamy milk chocolate can soften tannins and artisan cheeses create the perfect bridge between each tasting.

Hosted alongside our friends at Flint Vineyard and St. Jude Cheese, you'll be guided through a carefully curated selection of English wines, exceptional artisan cheeses and handcrafted chocolates, learning why each pairing works and how flavour, texture and aroma combine to create something truly memorable.

• 🍷 Guided wine tasting — explore six carefully selected wines from Flint Vineyard, with insights from Brand Ambassador and Wine Expert Dan Kirby and cheesemaker Julie Cheyney.
• 🧀 Generous artisan grazing boards created by Knead Bakery, featuring artisan cheeses, antipasti & salads, freshly baked focaccia, and smoked fish & cured meats.
• 🍫 Chocolate & wine pairing experience — discover how our handcrafted chocolate truffles complement and enhance selected wines.
• 🍓 A seasonal finale — fresh strawberries, raspberries and cherries dipped into our signature dark chocolate, expertly paired with wine.

Getting here & parking

The evening is held at the Harris & James Factory Café, 1a Beccles House, Common Lane North, Beccles, NR34 9BN — directly opposite Lidl.

Free on-site parking is available in our designated spaces, which are clearly marked with Harris & James signage. Please note the estate operates a one-way system:

• Spaces by the café: turn into the estate at the main entrance off Common Lane North (opposite Lidl).
• Additional spaces: due to the one-way system these cannot be reached from the café entrance — please enter the estate via the second entrance off George Westwood Way (opposite B&M) and follow the Harris & James signs.

Spaces are strictly limited and advance booking is essential. A confirmation email with full details of the evening and where to park will be sent once you've booked.
