Hand crafted, small batch, bean to bar chocolate made with the famous chuncho beans from Peru. Started by Jan Schubert in 2012, he worked with local cacao famers, scientists, stake holders and supply chain partners in the Urubamba valley to bring us the true Chuncho. These Chuncho Urusayhua beans are sourced from the Urubamba Valley, known as the sacred valley of the Inca. The cacao is carefully selected from old grown Chuncho trees, some of which are 200 years old. The Chunco’s have been identified as some of the most genetically and aromatically richest cacaos in the world.
