Hand crafted, small batch, bean to bar chocolate made with the beans from India. A forest-dwelling community in Idukki, a region in the state of Kerala in Southern India distinguished by its vast mountain forests and gentler climate. The long-standing tradition of growing fine cocoa in Idukki, dates back to the 18th century, where the region’s wealth of spices made the waters of Kerala the busiest trade route in the world. In 2015 Ellen and Luca founded GoGround Beans and Spices and developed an ardent ambition to build a completely transparent and fair business that could empower the local families to make a better living by growing organic cacao and spices.
