Hand crafted, small batch, bean to bar chocolate from Haiti’s beans. These beans are sourced from a network of 1500 organic certified farmers.  Each plantation is relatively small with the largest farm just a single hectare.  Each farmer sells the wet cocoa straight from the pod to Produits Des Iles SA (PISA); they then carefully ferment and dry the beans.  PISA was set up in 2014 to help the country’s cocoa farmers to improve their products and provide training and knowledge of best practices. Farmers now earn approximately four-time as much money as they did before PISA.
