In the heart of Ecuador's cacao growing region - nestle between the capital Quito and the Pacific Ocean - lies the Cedeño Aguilar family farm in Santo Domingo De Los Tsachilas, which produces one of South America’s most intense-flavoured cacao. 

The farm, named Garyth – a name amalgamating initials of sons Gabriel, Alberto and Ricardo and mother Yolanda and father Thomas - stretches out among the rolling hills and is renowned for its premium 100% Arriba Nacional cacao. 

With sustainability at the heart of production since its inception in 2005, the family operation showcases finesse and expertise in refined organic farming and has a unique processing centre for small-batch fermentation. Their dedication and passion didn’t go unnoticed after being awarded with the first certificate of denomination of protected organic cacao Arriba Nacional.
